ELEVATE CHURCH

ST. GEORGE, UTAH

Elevating people into a transforming relationship with Jesus.

In the Spring of 2022, we will launch Elevate Church St. George, Utah to elevate people into a transforming relationship with Jesus. Our vision is to establish a foundation for community building in our city. Through our weekly worship services, small groups and discipleship we will work together as a community of Jesus followers to provide a safe place for people of all walks of life to be enriched, empowered and ultimately elevated into the call God has placed on their life, creating a ripple effect from Southern Utah to the north and beyond.

We are a church plant out of Elevate Church in Southern California.

Our desire is for every person and family to grow in unity and community through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have a vision to work together as a family to encourage, empower and love people of all backgrounds into their God given call through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Nick and Sogol were married in 2010 and that same year they helped plant Elevate Church in Santa Clarita California. Elevate has been their home church where they have, served their church and their community, grown in their relationship with God and raised their family. God has given Nick and Sogol the vision to bring the life giving, Jesus loving culture of Elevate Church to Southern Utah.

We Believe

Jesus

We believe in the virgin birth and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and died for our sins. His life was the perfect sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.

John 1:1

Acts 2:3-24

God's Word

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is divinely inspired, infallible, and fully authoritative. It is the final source for how to live life and what to believe.

The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26
Matthew 28:19

2 Corinthians 13:14

2 Timothy 3:16-17

2 Peter 1:20-21

Psalm 119:105

Psalm 9:7-11

Forgiveness

We believe that we have all sinned and are in need of forgiveness. This forgiveness became available to us through the blood that Jesus shed for us.

Genesis 2:15-17,33:1-24

Romans 3:23

Repentance

We believe that to receive forgiveness and to be “born again,” we must repent, confess our sins to God, believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and, in doing so, we receive eternal life.

Healing

We believe that healing is provided by Christ’s redemptive work on the cross.

Mark 16:15-20

1 Peter 2:24

2 Peter 3:9

1 John 1:9

Romans 7:7

Death Was Defeated

We believe Jesus rose from the dead, declaring victory over death and hell. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Ephesians 1:20

Philippians 2:6-11

Hebrews 1:2-3

We Will Rise Again

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.

Gifts of The Holy Spirit

We believe that to walk in the power of God, we must receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He is our helper and enables us to use our spiritual gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11

Galatians 5:16-25

Hebrews 6:1

Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-48

Water Baptism

We believe that water baptism is an outward symbolic sign and testimony that demonstrates that Jesus died for our sins and was raised by the power of the Holy Spirit. In baptism, we are identifying with His death and resurrection.

Jesus' Return

We believe that we are called to be Jesus’ hands and feet here on earth and that He is coming back for His bride (church).
